What does it taste like?
Capsules have no taste to speak of; if you want the powder in a drink, it’s mild and mushroom-forward.
Will I feel it, and when?
It’s daily support, not a stimulant. Some people notice something the first day. Most describe a difference in the two-to-four-week window, and taking it every day matters more than any single serving.
How do I take it?
One serving a day with a glass of water. The serving is on the label. Any time of day works, so pick one you’ll remember.
I already take a lot of supplements, where does this fit?
Calm+ is Reishi with four added ingredients for relaxation and balance: KSM-66® Ashwagandha, L-Theanine, GABA and Magnesium.
Are the capsules large?
It isn't a sleep aid, though lower stress can improve your sleep quality. Ashwagandha may cause drowsiness in some people, especially alongside alcohol or medication that makes you drowsy.
Does it have caffeine?
No. Calm+ is caffeine-free.
Is it an extract?
The Reishi isn't. We don't use hot water or alcohol extraction; the Reishi is dried and milled whole. The KSM-66® Ashwagandha is a root extract.
Where is it grown, and on what?
At our own indoor farm in California, where we grow, dry and mill the mushrooms ourselves. They grow on organic, gluten-free whole oats. The mycelium feeds on the oats as it grows, and we harvest once it has worked through them.
How is it tested?
Every product is tested in-house and by a third-party lab for heavy metals and other contaminants, and meets California’s Prop 65 standards. The mushroom powder is USDA certified organic, and every production lot is tested for gluten at 10 parts per million. The FDA’s line for a gluten-free label is 20.
Is it safe with my medications?
